Ever since Marcus Rosner guest-starred on When Calls the Heart in 2014, he warmed our hearts with his rugged good looks and his charisma.
He’s become one of Hallmark’s leading men and hunks, starring in dozens of Hallmark shows and movies.
Surprisingly, Rosner has only starred in five Hallmark Christmas movies, since he often splits his time between Hallmark and Lifetime holiday movies.

However, his Hallmark Christmas movies were memorable, and there’s no better time to binge them since Hallmark movies specialize in making you feel like you’ve come home for Christmas.
We’ve ranked his Hallmark holiday movies based on how much we enjoyed his character and how much Christmas cheer they brought us.
1. An Ice Palace Romance (2023)
IMDb 5.8 • Starring Marcus Rosner and Celeste Desjardins

This was the first Marcus Rosner Christmas movie I watched, and being a figure skating fan and a Michigander, it’s easy to see why this one tops my list.
Marcus plays the owner of the Ice Palace, but he’s in danger of losing it unless they raise enough money to save it, and a reporter played by Celeste Desjardins could ruin everything.
The Ice Palace means everything to him and his daughter, who takes skating lessons there and is about to compete in her first big competition.
Marcus Rosner looked right at home at that rink since he’s also from the Midwest.
Marcus exhibited equal charm with his leading lady, Celeste Desjardins, and with the young actress who played his daughter.
It featured genuine heart, several holiday traditions, and community spirit.
2. Falling like Snowflakes (2024)
IMDb 6.0 • Starring Marcus Rosner and Rebecca Dalton

Two exes reuniting for a common goal? Sold!
Marcus Rosner and Rebecca Dalton play high school exes who run into each other by chance and end up on a road trip to hunt for a rare snowflake.
Falling Like Snowflakes differed from Marcus’s other two recent holiday films because Marcus wasn’t the one trying to save anything. He’s helping someone else, and I loved how much time they spent on weather and snowflakes.
This one sneaks up on you because it features the beauty of Ottawa’s snow and lots of emotional beats as the two open up and bare their souls.
Fans loved seeing a movie about rare snowflakes and the symbolism of their relationship and appreciated the chemistry between the leads.
3. Flipping for Christmas (2023)
IMDb 5.9 • Starring Marcus Rosner and Ashley Newbrough

This one is underrated since it combines Hallmark’s infamous formula with HGTV’s decorating and house-flipping ideas.
Marcus Rosner and Ashley NewBrough brought their romantic chemistry and comedic timing to the duo’s reluctant renovation of a historic home.
Fans never knew what to expect as the duo fell in love but disagreed on what the home should be used for.
Marcus plays the earnest handyman beautifully. He truly wants to help his town and make the holidays brighter for each person.
4. Christmas in Evergreen (2017)
IMDb 6.6 • Starring Ashley Williams, Teddy Sears, & Marcus Rosner

A Christmas festival, a winter wonderland, and a young Jaeda Lily Miller? Count me in!
Ashley Williams‘s Allie planned to move to D.C to be with her boyfriend, played by Marcus Rosner, but snowstorms kept her in the picturesque Evergreen.
She meets a single dad, played by Teddy Sears, and his young daughter, who are also stranded in Evergreen.
Marcus plays a corporate executive who would move mountains to see his girlfriend, including flying to Evergreen in a helicopter.
You’ll start to see the romantic side of Marcus Rosner, you know and love, as he genuinely wants to charm his girlfriend, even if he doesn’t understand small-town charm.
This was one of those fun love triangles, where neither man was a bad guy, yet you rooted for one more than the other.
5, A Christmas Detour (2015)
IMDb 6.2 • Starring Candace Cameron Bure and Paul Greene (Special Appearance by Marcus Rosner)

Candace Cameron Bure and Paul Greene’s characters get stranded at a hotel with a happily married couple when a play breaks.
Being Hallmark, you can guess where instant sparks and romantic stories lead.
Marcus plays Candace Cameron Bure’s fiancé, and while I didn’t particularly like his character, he played a wealthy, entitled man perfectly, who hated that his fiancée arrived late to Christmas.
My favorite part was when he became tired of his parents taking over and ordering his fiancée around.
I loved it when he stood up to them and announced that she could select her own dress. That should be the bride’s choice.
This is not as polished as Marcus’s later work, but it allowed him to work with Hallmark vets and should be watched at least once.

Marcus Rosner has come a long way and become one of Hallmark’s leading men. He’s charming, witty, and has chemistry with his co-stars.
Marcus has become part of nostalgic Christmas TV magic, the perfect pairing with hot cocoa and home-baked cookies.
