Before his new role, he served as Assistant Director of Sales at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, where he managed a diverse portfolio of clients, including key business parks in Bengaluru and Mumbai. His leadership and strategic approach were instrumental in retaining 98% of major accounts while securing new business in 2024. Prior to The Ritz-Carlton, Sumin held leadership positions at Conrad Bengaluru and Park Hyatt properties in Hyderabad and Chennai, contributing to the growth of the corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and travel trade segments.
Sumin’s career began with Taj Hotels, where he built a solid foundation in client management and revenue development, further honing his ability to design effective sales strategies and execute complex RFP processes. Over the years, he has been recognized for nurturing long-term partnerships in highly competitive markets.
