For the unversed, Marshawn was left extremely upset by his mother’s death. It was an extremely difficult phase for him as he was preparing for the NFL draft. According to the Dallas News, Kneeland was close to his mother. So, after her death, he carried her ashes with him always. He had kept his mother, Wendy’s ashes, in a vertically shaped urn which was no bigger than 2 inches in a chain around his neck.
