Mayo Hospital adopts 1,800 rural families for healthcare under National Medical Commission guidelines

The initiative, led by Mayo’s Preventive and Social Medicine (PSM) Department, aims to provide high-quality healthcare to the rural population. As per the NMC directive, medical colleges and hospitals must take responsibility for rural families to bridge the healthcare gap. Following this mandate, Mayo Hospital adopted families from six villages — Sukli, Kinhi, Mohgaon, Dhanoli, Mangli, and Raipur — under its ‘Family Adoption Programme’.
