Despite modernisation and abolishment of royal titles, Indian royals enjoy massive love and respect among the masses. Their deeply rooted culture and heritage have been an inspiration to many. One such royal is Maharani Shivranjani Rajye, princess of the royal family of Jodhpur state. The Cambridge-educated Princess chose not to get married and is looking after her family’s legacy.

Besides managing the activities of Umaid Bhawan Palace, Shivranjani also owns the Jodhpur Girls Polo team. Unlike the other royal princesses, Shivranjani chose not to get married and opted to stay single even at the age of 50.
