(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 13 – Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had a series of telephone conversations Friday with international leaders following the crisis in Iran, speaking with the President of the United States Donald Trump, the President of Germany Friedrich Merz and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, sources said.
These contacts with the leaders, it was explained, are preparatory to telephone calls that will be held later in the afternoon with the main regional actors in the Middle East and are part of the intense diplomatic activity underway to coordinate the response of the international community to the crisis.
