The research, carried out by Elizabeth Abraham as part of her PhD at School of Gandhian Thought and Development Studies, Mahatma Gandhi University, assessed the post-transplant quality of life (QOL) among recipients in the state. Supervised by school director P P Noushad, the study surveyed 256 patients — 140 kidney, 104 liver and 12 heart transplant recipients — between Oct 2022 and Feb 2023.
