School has started. It’s hard to believe that summer is nearly over. It’s unbelievable, just like it was for the Massillon Tigers to lose to the Glenville Tarblooders on Friday night. Some things catch you off guard. And with summer’s end comes the transition to fall, or for many, the start of hunting season. That means you should ensure your food plots are growing, your tree stands are prepped, and your trail cameras are checked. Luckily, we are well past the days of fuzzy photos. Back when you were trying to figure out if the animal that walked by was a trophy buck or a weird-looking squirrel. Fortunately, Moultrie has announced that every picture taken by their EDGE Series trail camera is now available in HD.

EDGE Series

The EDGE Series is Moultrie’s line of smart trail cameras that connect you to the action. You no longer need to hike out into the wilderness to retrieve an SD card, only to realize you forgot to delete old photos and it didn’t capture any new ones (we’ve all been there). The new feature works through the Moultrie App, where all images taken with an EDGE Series camera are updated to HD. So, what does this mean for you?

Now, the photos in your gallery have been upgraded to HD, allowing you to zoom in and still see 4x more detail. EDGE Series customers still have the option of downloading a high-resolution version of the image stored in the camera, but with the new HD thumbnails, you won’t need to.

Zooming Out

The best part of this upgrade is that there’s no charge, and it’s automatically updated in Moultrie’s firmware. If you want to take advantage of this, Moultrie is offering a great deal on the EDGE 2 2-pack for $79.99! Check it out at Bass Pro Shops. Now is the perfect time to make final preparations for another memorable Fall.
