Maker of magazines, firearm furniture, and everything in between, Magpul is here at NRAAM 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia, with the new Hunter Lite Stock. Building upon the success of the original Hunter Stock, the new Hunter Lite Stock is lighter and has slimmed-down dimensions. Cutting almost 25% of the original’s weight and having a forend almost 25% narrower than the original Hunter Stock. This new lightweight short-action hunting stock is going to be available for the Remington 700 pattern, Ruger American, and Savage Axis. It is easily swapped out with the flimsy factory hunting rifle stocks that most rifles come with, by simply dropping in the action.

The Hunter Lite Stock works for both left and right-handed shooters by simply swapping the included inserts in the stock. The rifle receivers are supported by an extruded aluminum V-bedding block and reinforced steel pillars. The stock also features enhanced ergonomics, with integral sling swivel studs, removable LOP adjustment spacers, and snap-on cheek risers for adjusting the comb height. The trigger guard and ambidextrous mag release are enlarged for easier use of the rifle with winter gloves on. The magazine well, with built-in steel over-insertion tabs, is built into the stock, so no need to buy a bottom metal. MSRP for the Magpul Hunter Lite stock is set at $219.95, with them becoming available later this year in three colors.
