Ozzy Osbourne’s funeral was completed and he was laid to rest on July 31, 2025 in a private ceremony. A day before the ceremony, a special funeral procession was organised for the late rock legend, where fans lined up on both sides of the streets to bid him an emotional goodbye. At the same time, his wife, Sharon, and her three kids, Kelly, Aimee, and Jack, with Ozzy’s son, Louis, from his first marriage, gathered in unity to express their gratitude to everyone. Although the exact details of the ceremony have been kept private, Ozzy had once revealed what would be written on his gravestone back in 2009.
Ozzy Osbourne shared his desires about what should be written on his gravestone
Ozzy Osbourne’s family has kept the details about Ozzy’s private funeral ceremony and burial under wraps. But back in 2009, when Ozzy wrote his autobiography, I Am Ozzy, long before his demise and his diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease, he revealed his vision about his death, funeral, and burial. The rock legend shared that even if he had died at that point, he wouldn’t feel that life would have ended early because he had lived a full and eventful life. Sharing how he didn’t wanted to live an artificial life, Ozzy wrote:
“The only thing I ask is if I end up brain-dead in a hospital somewhere, just pull the plug, please.”
