Peacemaker Season 2 picks off with ‘Christopher Smith’ exploring a Multiverse detour. However, instead of offering a bold new direction or emotional depth, the show delivers a rather flat continuation. The connection of ‘Chris’ encountering a version of himself with everything he ever dreamed of should be a powerful ground for character growth, but it is met with a dragged storyline, with the core stretched across eight episodes. While early moments gave some hope to the emotional growth, especially in terms of his friendships with ‘Leota Adebayo’ and ‘Emilia Harcourt’, it is ultimately the same story with a different cover.
