Phil Collins tied the knot with a school teacher named Jill Tavelman back in 1984 after he met her a few years earlier, in 1981. Their marriage lasted for 12 years until it crumbled in the 1990s after Phil was caught having an affair. Eventually, his infidelity caused the couple to divorce in 1996, seven years after their daughter, actress Lily Collins, was born.
Phil Collins has admitted that he regrets the way that his marriage to Jill came to an end. He also insisted that he was wrong to cheat on her.
