The murder of Indore-based businessman, Raja Raghuvanshi in Meghalaya during his honeymoon has shaken the nation. His wife, Sonam, who had been missing since the fatal attack on the victim, was recently found and is the main suspect along with four others. The case is riddled with many twists and turns; however, before Sonam was caught, many people had started blaming locals and the state authority of Meghalaya. Tourism in the region was also being affected. Actress and model, Chum Darang, who is a Northeast Indian herself, took to her social media handle and spoke up about the case and the blame that was put on Meghalaya and the Northeastern region.
Chum Darang addressed the recent Raja Raghuvanshi murder case
Chum Darang of Bigg Boss 18 fame, recently took to her Instagram handle and posted a story on the murder case of Raja Raghuvanshi. Like everyone else who has come across this disheartening crime, the actress expressed that she was shaken beyond words. Chum said that everyone must have been worried about the ‘wife’ who was missing since the incident took place, but she had never thought that the wife could allegedly be the one who planned the whole ordeal. In her own words, the actress had penned down:
“This Raja Raghuvanshi case had me shook beyond words. I am sure everyone was worried for the ‘wife’ after the news of Raja being found. But never did I think she would be behind all this. Breaks my heart.”
