(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 4 – AC Milan have reached an agreement to sell Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City for around 70 million euros, sources said on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old was arguably Milan’s best player during a difficult campaign last season, which they ended trophyless and outside the positions to qualify for European competition.
The club seems to consider his sale a necessary sacrifice as they will not have revenue from European competition next season.
Reijnders is reportedly set to sign a five-year agreement with City. (ANSA).
