(ANSA) – ROME, APR 21 – Remembering the late Pope Francis should translate into responsibility, President Sergio Mattarella said Monday.
“A thought stands out above all, what Pope Francis decided to do yesterday, on Easter Sunday with the blessing to the world and the tour of the square among the faithful, with his final call to the principle of humanity as a criterion of conduct for each: today it appears as a greeting to the Church and to the women and men of the whole world”, he said in a video.
“The response to this farewell message by everyone in the world must not be limited to memory and gratitude but must translate into responsibility to make the indications of his teachings one’s own in daily behavior”. (ANSA).
