Romanian hospital infections under scrutiny after seven infants die

The seven infants, all under one year old, had been admitted for pre-existing conditions to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital in the northeastern city of Iasi, where they are believed to have caught the Serratia marcescens bacteria.
