(ANSA) – ROME, APR 4 – Mark Antony Samson, a 23-year-old Italo-Filipino architecture graduate who has confessed to killing his ex girlfriend, 22-year-old Umbrian-born Rome university statistics student Ilaria Sula, told police Friday he murdered her on the morning of March 26 after she spent the previous night at his flat.
He said she had come to the apartment in Via Homs, in Rome’s African Quarter, on the evening of March 25, in order to give him back some clothes.
She eventually stayed so late that she decided to stay over rather than get a night bus back home, he said.
Samson said they had recently broken up after going out for a few months, with ups and downs. (ANSA).
