Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty appeared for a special episode of Kapil Sharma’s show, The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, streaming on Netflix. The sister duo were a part of a Raksha Bandhan episode, and shared funny anecdotes from their lives together on the superhit show. They were also joined by Huma Qureshi and her brother, Saqib Saleem.
Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty revealed their mother used to hit them with ‘chappal and jhadu‘
As Indian children growing up in the ’90s, we can all relate to getting hit by our parents for being naughty. And Shilpa Shetty and her sister, Shamita Shetty’s childhood was also no different. During one of the candid conversations, Shilpa recalled her childhood and revealed that their mother, Sunanda Shetty, was extremely strict and would beat them with a chappal and a jhadu. She said:
“Our mom didn’t spare us at all. She used to hit us with chappal and jhadu when we were kids.”
