She shared that she was very young and didn’t want to settle down at that time in an interview with ETimes. However, it was people around her who told her that it was the right time for her to get married. But soon, things fell down between her and Romit, and they parted ways. Sharing the details of it, Shilpa said:
“Romit and I were engaged a long time ago and I was very young at that point. I didn’t want to settle down at that time, but everyone around me felt it was the right age to get married. Subsequently, things didn’t work out between Romit and me, and the relationship fell apart.”
