Shilpa Shirodkar reveals she moved back to India in the 2010s to be close to her sister
Shilpa Shirodkar took the vows with the love of her life, Aparesh Ranjit, in 2000, but hasn’t talked much about him in the media. But, recently, she sat down for an interview with Pinkvilla and recalled that after marriage, when she was living a stable life with her husband and daughter, her husband had to quit his successful job in New Zealand to support her in her battle with depression. Recalling how she used to feel during those moments, Shilpa said:
“I didn’t get films, and I didn’t try either. I didn’t even try for television either. In fact, when I came back to India, I wasn’t in a great mental state. I had lost my parents, and I was in really bad depression. And I actually came back to India to be next to my sister (Namrata Shirodkar).”
