
SITA, a global leader in air transport technology, has appointed Nathalie Altwegg as the Senior Vice President of its Airports business unit. In her new role, Altwegg will lead SITA’s strategic efforts to expand its presence in the airports market, building on the company’s established footprint across over 1,000 airports worldwide. She will also focus on driving innovation and the digital transformation of airport operations and passenger experiences through advanced technology solutions.
Altwegg transitions into this position after two years as Chief Operating Officer for SITA Europe. With more than 20 years of experience in the air transport sector, she brings extensive expertise in strategy, commercial management, and portfolio leadership. Her background also includes significant experience in M&A, IT outsourcing, and leading large-scale business development initiatives.
