(ANSA) – ROME, AUG 20 – Nigeria striker Ademola Lookman has been fined by his club Atalanta after going AWOL for a fortnight as he pressed for a move to Inter Milan, which La Dea has denied him.
The 27-year-old former Charlton, Everton Leipzig, Fulham and Leicester player has also beeen ordered to train alone until September 2, meaning he will miss Atalanta’s Serie A games against Pisa and Parma.
With 23-year-old Poland wing-back Nicola Zalewski joining Atalanta from Inter, Lookman’s hopes of joining the Nerazzurri have been definitively dashed. (ANSA).
