Sonu Nigam calls out BJP MP, Tejasvi Surya
It was on May 21, 2025, when BJP MP, Tesjasvi Surya took to his X account and shared a video of a public sector bank, where an employee can be seen speaking in English. The clip showed the employee and a customer arguing, as the former spoke in English and the customer spoke in Kannada. He said that the bank employee’s behaviour was ‘simply not acceptable’ and demanded that bank employees who have to deal with local customers must know the local language.
