Deepshikha Nagpal reveals Shah Rukh Khan hurt her ‘ego’ on her first day of shoot
Deepshikha Nagpal worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Rakesh Roshan’s 1997 film, Koyla. She recently sat down for an interview with Instant Bollywood and recalled her experience of working with the superstar. Being one of the girls who was enamoured by SRK’s charm in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995, she was excited to work with him. However, when she first got a chance to shoot with him, Deepshikha’s day didn’t go as dreamily as she had imagined. Recalling the time, she said:
“My first scene was that I am dying in his arms. So I was nervous wondering how it would happen. When Shah Rukh came, he was smoking. So Rakesh ji came in and said, ‘Do you know Dipshikkha?’ He said, ‘She is a fantastic actress.’ Rakesh ji was very impressed with me.”
