Swiipr, a leading payment platform driving digital disruption in airline payment systems, has appointed Kirk Nagy as its new Vice President of Sales for the Americas.
Based in Florida, Nagy brings over 30 years of experience in SaaS and data solutions, specializing in airlines, ground handling companies, and airports. Prior to joining Swiipr, he worked at Cirium, where he led enterprise business development across North America. In this role, Nagy played a key part in launching Cirium’s flagship data platform, which supported the digital transformation efforts of tier 1 and tier 2 airlines in the Americas.
Nagy’s extensive experience also includes managing sales and account teams in the Americas, implementing SaaS solutions for airline network planning and revenue management, and overseeing responses to irregular operations.
He has held several prominent roles throughout his career, including Regional Vice President and Head of Alliances, Partnerships, and Resellers at Travelport, Commercial Director and Regional Vice President at Worldspan, and Commercial Director at American Airlines.

Norse Atlantic Airways recently expanded its partnership with Swiipr, extending the use of its payment solution from its European operations to its US hubs, including John F. Kennedy International, Miami International, Los Angeles International, and Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
The Norwegian airline is now the third carrier in the US to integrate with Swiipr’s travel paytech solution. Currently, 28 airports across the US offer real-time compensation, refreshment vouchers, and goodwill gestures to passengers impacted by flight disruptions, thanks to Swiipr-integrated airlines.
Since its launch in 2020, Swiipr has been adopted by 26 airlines in 70 countries. Among its clients is a major flag carrier, with 4,000 employees utilizing the platform at over 167 airports worldwide.
