(ANSA) – GINEVRA, 14 AGO – Italian Ambassador to Switzerland Gian Lorenzo Cornado was received today in Bern by Swiss Federal Councillor (Minister) Martin Pfister, Head of the Federal Department of Defense, Population Protection and Sports.
Ambassador Cornado, who was accompanied by General B.A. Girolamo Iadicicco, Defense Attaché in Switzerland, was keen to highlight the success of the bilateral meeting between Federal Councillor Pfister and Defense Minister Crosetto on May 13 in Berlin on the sidelines of the United Nations Ministerial Meeting on Peacekeeping and took stock together with the Head of the Federal Department of the excellent cooperation between the two countries in defense and industrial matters, which was further strengthened with Switzerland’s purchase of the new F-35A fighter aircraft.
