The Italian Embassy in Prague promotes female entrepreneurship

(ANSA) – PRAGA, 27 MAG – The Deputy Head of Mission of the Italian Embassy in Prague Laura Calligaro spoke at the ‘Women in Business’ event, held yesterday in Brno in the premises of Vicino DiVino on the initiative of the Embassy and the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAMIC). At the centre of the proceedings was a focus on the role of female entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic, the theme of inclusiveness, presentations of sector excellences, and in particular of ‘Progetto Donna,’ the initiative promoted by CAMIC in collaboration with the Embassy and dedicated to Italian women wishing to start up businesses in the Czech Republic, with the aim of providing practical tools and targeted information to successfully meet the initial challenges.
Laura Calligaro illustrated how the desk provides targeted advice in Italian on taxation, regulations, and business management, offering information on incentives and dedicated funding in order to create an inclusive ecosystem capable of fostering women’s participation in the entrepreneurial world through spaces and resources. At the end of the workshop, a networking session was held aimed at strengthening the network of contacts between Italian and Czech women entrepreneurs with the local realities of Moravia, also within the framework of possible international partnerships.
