Traumatized Cats Need Help to Survive After Eye Surgery & Devastating Hit and Run

Life on the streets is tough for stray cats. They struggle to find enough food or shelter and have no one to care for them if they become sick or injured. Thankfully, there are rescues and kind locals that save the homeless felines and provide them with care when needed.

Zosia and Czarna were both found in critical condition on the streets of Poland. Ten-year-old Zosia was emaciated, dehydrated, struggling to breathe, and barely hanging on. She was rushed to clinic where they discovered that she was also suffering from eye infections that had already destroyed one of her eyes. Her ear also had a large wound that turned out to be cancerous. She would not have survived much longer on her own.

She was immediately started on antibiotics, pain medication, and fluids. She underwent surgery to remove her damaged eye and partial amputation of her ear. She survived surgery but has a long road to recovery ahead and needs your support.

Czarna was found with severe leg injuries after being struck by a vehicle. She was unable to move and in excruciating pain. Her shattered hind leg needed emergency surgery to save it. It had extensive fractures, the hock joint requiring urgent intervention, with tissues practically exposed.

The five-year-old feline is on antibiotics and pain meds and has a long road ahead. She will need to remain in the hospital for observation and then go to a medical foster to continue to heal.

Your donations will help Zosia and Czarna get the medical care they need to survive and get a second chance to find a loving home.
