(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 26 – The turnout for a round of elections in several Italian towns and cities Sunday and Monday was 56.29%, according to definitive interior ministry data, slightly down from 56.32% last time.
The centre left won or were ahead in three of the four key battles, in Genoa, Ravenna, and Matera, while Taranto looked set for a run-off, according to exit polls. (ANSA).
