UK stocks fall as BoE policymaker flags inflation risks, medical device makers weigh

British medical equipment and services stocks fell 2.3 per cent after the U.S. Commerce Department said it had opened new national security investigations into the import of personal protective equipment, medical items, robotics, and industrial machinery.
