'Vodka Never Stopped Flowing, Russians Rolled Down Drinking, Salman Didn't Sway' Recalls Radhika Rao

Salman Khan’s legendary parties and large-hearted nature is a well-known fact in Bollywood. Many of his co-stars have often discussed Salman’s generosity, fun-loving nature and tasty treats. Known for his larger-than-life on-screen image, Salman’s off-screen personality is no less, which has a strong impact on his colleagues and fans. One such interesting anecdote was recalled by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, who directed the actor in the 2005 film, Lucky: No Time For Love. Here’s what happened.

Radhika Rao reveals Russian crew was stunned to see Salman Khan’s unaffected after a long party

Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao recently sat down for an interview with Hindi Rush. During the conversation, they recalled an amusing anecdote from their time working with Salman Khan in Lucky: No Time for Love. They shared that they worked with some Russian crew members on the film, who were proud of their drinking culture and couldn’t resist saying ‘no’ to an invitation by Salman Khan to a party. Radhika and Vinay warned them that they wouldn’t be able to handle the drinks, but they went anyway and regretted it later. They recalled:

“We told them not to go. We told them that they wouldn’t come to work the next day. They said, ‘We are Russians, nobody can out-drink us’. We said, ‘All the best, this is Salman Khan’s party, don’t underestimate…’ The vodka never stopped flowing, and the people kept drinking. They wanted to prove that they are the best in the world when it comes to vodka consumption.”
