London indie pop singer-songwriter Ananya has had a busy 2025, presenting us with one amazing single after another. Following her “Man Ray” single, she unveiled “My Darling New York”. And just like “Man Ray”, I find the new song amazing.
“My Darling New York” came paired with a music video that captures the sentiment in each lyric. It’s a heartfelt and nostalgic ode to New York and the duality of the freedom and vulnerability that it sometimes represents.
