Hinduja Group Chairman and Indian-origin billionaire, Gopichand P Hinduja passed away at the age of 85 in London. He was the second sibling out of the four Hinduja brothers and took over the business after the passing of his elder brother, Srichand Hinduja, in May 2023.

For the unversed, Gopichand P Hinduja died in London Hospital, as per a news agency, PTI. He was known as ‘GP’ in the business circles. The 85-year-old has been survived by his wife, Sunita Hinduja, two sons — Sanjay and Dheeraj, and a daughter, Rita. He became part of his family business when he was in Mumbai in 1959. It won’t be wrong to say that his leadership and business ideas evolved the Hinduja Group from a trading firm into a USD 20 billion multinational conglomerate.
