Jubilant Sykes’s wife, Cecelia, called the police to their home situated on Delaware Avenue, Santa Monica, at around 9:20 p.m. on December 8, 2025. According to The New York Post, the officers found the 71-year-old singer fatally injured and declared him dead at the scene. The late singer had sustained stabbing wounds. According to reports, the deceased’s wife had called the police after witnessing the son allegedly attacking his father. The exact motive behind the alleged fatricide is not yet known. However, as per reports, Jubilant and Micah might have been embroiled in a domestic dispute.
