House of David has wrapped up its Season 2 as well. The series debuted earlier this year, in February 2025. According to Prime Video, Season 1 attracted 40 million viewers worldwide and became one of the platform’s hit shows. After its grand success, makers brought Season 2. Now that House of David Season 2 has ended with ‘David’ on the run, fans are guessing that the hit series might have Season 3 on the cards. While no official announcement has been made yet, Jon Erwin, co-creator, has hinted at a trilogy.
What happens at the end of House of David Season 2?
By the end of House of David Season 2, ‘King Saul’ has turned into a fully corrupt king. He has only one motive, to take over the throne of Israel. While Prophet ‘Samuel’ tried to explain to ‘King Saul’ that ‘David’ is the true successor to the Israelite throne, ‘King Saul’ seemed adamant in his belief that ‘David’ was not the true successor. ‘Samuel’ also acted as a protector to ‘David’ and his loyal followers and helped them to escape the city of Nob.
