Yesterday’s practice was a big one: the Celje park was packed all day and the level is already high. Riders from 15 countries are here and ready to fight – Brazil and Venezuela made the long trip, together with Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, France, Slovakia, Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom and Portugal. Today it’s game time.

AGE CATEGORIES
Both Park and Street run in two age categories, with separate rankings and podiums:

• Grom – born 2011 or later
• Rookie – born 2007 to 2010

CONTEST FORMAT
Park: heats of 5 skaters. Each skater gets 2 runs of 1 minute, followed by a 5-minute jam. Score 1–100 on Overall Impression.
Street qualification: jam session, 2 skaters / 2 minutes. Only landed tricks count. Score 1–100 on Overall Impression. Top 10 girls + Top 10 boys advance to Finals.
Street finals (WCS format): 2 heats of 5 skaters. Each skater gets 2 runs of 1 minute (best run counts) + 5 trick attempts (best 2 tricks count). Score 1–100 on Overall Impression of best run + best 2 tricks.
Overall Impression criteria: trick difficulty, obstacle difficulty, variety, execution, creativity, use of the course and style. For Park, speed is also considered.
