A movie that reportedly posted more than $100 million in losses and is infamously ranked among the biggest box-office bombs of all time is staging a streaming resurgence. It has been more than two decades since the film’s disastrous theatrical run in 2005, when it grossed approximately $120 million worldwide against a budget that escalated to a reported $160 million. The action-adventure film was released just one year after the very similar National Treasure, starring Nicolas Cage in the lead role. While National Treasure received a sequel and cultivated a loyal legion of fans, the 2005 movie has been largely lost to the sands of time.
