(ANSA) – ROMA, 04 SET – Ten Memorandums of Understanding were signed between economic entities and companies from Italy and Vietnam, which were signed on the sidelines of the Business Forum held in Hanoi and co-chaired by the Deputy Minister of Business and Made In Italy, Valentino Valentini, and the Deputy Minister of Finance of Vietnam, Ho Sy Hung. The Vietnamese Forum is part of Valentini’s ongoing Asia mission agenda; the Deputy Minister also had bilateral meetings with Vietnam’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Le Thi Thu Hang, and the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Nguyen Hoang Long. “Two cordial meetings,” emphasized Valentini, “in which we had an interesting exchange of views on opportunities to further increase the already positive economic relations between Italy and Vietnam, in terms of both trade and investment. With Vice Minister Long, Valentini also co-chaired a panel discussion dedicated to the ‘Just Energy Transition Partnership’ program and the opportunities offered by the Vietnamese energy transition market. Valentini then visited the Piaggio plant in Phu Tho province and met with companies participating in the Business Forum at the Residence of Ambassador Marco Della Seta. The Forum was an important growth diplomacy initiative that falls in line with the ‘Export Plan’ to support Italian exports in high-potential non-EU markets.
