Between 2021-2022, Noel Clarke sued The Guardians’ publication because of a series of articles. He has claimed that the reporting done by them was completely false, while the publisher defended that the reporting was done on two grounds- truth and public interest. Eventually, the case reached High Court because Noel’s reputation was on the line.
