Rohit Purohit, who is playing the role of ‘Armaan Poddar’ in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, sat down with his wife, Sheena Bajaj, for an interview with the Times Of India and expressed his joy over expecting their first child. Sheena shared that she conceived at the end of January after they celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary. Since her husband, Rohit, who is fond of kids wanted to have children from a long time now, he is delighted over the news. The actress also mentioned that when they decided to expand their family, they didn’t anticipate that it would take a lot of time. Rohit chimed in and recalled his first reaction to the joyful news. He said:
“I was in shock at first. Once the news sank in, I had tears of joy in my eyes. I couldn’t react properly and had to leave for a shoot. We waited for the doctor’s confirmation and the sonography.”
