(ANSA) – ROME, AUG 25 – The Vatican is stunned by what is happening in Gaza where five journalists were among the over 20 people killed in an Israeli army drone strike on a hospital at Khan Younis Monday, Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin said.
We remain stunned by what is happening in Gaza, despite the worldwide condemnation,” said Parolin, speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of the National Liturgical Week in Naples.
“Here too, it seems that there is currently no glimmer of hope for a solution and that the situation is becoming increasingly complicated, especially from a humanitarian perspective,” he added. (ANSA).
