The feud between Karisma Kapoor’s children and Sunjay Kapur’s third wife, Priya Kapur, has been taken to court. Both parties have made their points loud and clear that they are not going to back off easily. Amid the highly publicised legal battle, Sunjay Kapur’s sister, Mandhira Kapur Smith, presented her stance in the conflict. Mandhira, who is currently in the UK with her mother, Rani Kapur, supported Karisma and felt that her children have every right to move to court to pursue what’s rightfully theirs, i.e., a share in their late father’s property.
Mandhira Kapur Smith believed the court case would be beneficial for the family
Mandhira was asked by ANI what she thought about the legal feud between Karisma’s kids, Samaira and Kiaan and Priya Kapoor over Sunjay’s Rs. 30,000 crore estate. She responded that she was ‘happy’ about them making the legal move because that would give their family knowledge about Sunjay’s will and what really transpired behind it. Mentioning that she believes in the Indian justice system, Mandhira said:
“I’m very happy about it because finally the family will know something and have some knowledge about anything, really. I believe in the justice system in India, so I’m hoping it will bring more clarity, more visibility and transparency to everything.”
