Evil Dead Burn is one of the franchise’s goriest, most unhinged offerings yet — so it’s a bit surprising to hear that this is only director Sébastien Vaniček‘s second feature film. It’s even more surprising when you realize that the Evil Dead franchise has been entrusted to a French filmmaker whose only other film never even played in North American theaters (though it did find English language viewers on Shudder).
