From 25 to 28 September 2025, Nice Côte d’Azur by UTMB will celebrate its 4th edition in a spirit of sport, international exchange and shared passion. Featuring four race formats, a festive night relay and three youth races, the event unites amateur and elite runners from across the globe on a course stretching from the Niçois back country to the Mediterranean Sea.
This year, the event coincides with the 2025 European Week of Sport, an initiative that promotes physical activity, health and togetherness across the continent. A perfect match for the values of Nice Côte d’Azur by UTMB, which stands for an accessible, inclusive and collective approach to trail running.
“We are particularly proud of the success of this new edition of Nice Côte d’Azur by UTMB®, which has reached a record of more than 6,300 registered runners in such a short space of time. This incredible enthusiasm reflects not only the passion of runners for our sport, but also the appeal of this beautiful host region. The close collaboration with the City of Nice and the Métropole, already home to major national and international sporting events, is a shining example of ambitious policy and the sporting values we share. I would like to warmly thank all the participants for their trust and enthusiasm, as well as the volunteers, whose commitment and energy are vital to the success of this event.” —Isabelle Viseux-Poletti, UTMB France Events Director.
