VNR Alert: XCAT Kuwait 2025 – Day 3

Salmyia, Kuwait City — 22nd November 2025 — Race 2 exploded into action, delivering the ultimate finale to an electrifying weekend of UIM XCAT World Championship racing in Kuwait. From the opening lap, the fleet launched into a high-velocity showdown packed with breathtaking overtakes, deck-to-deck duels, and relentless pace.

Shortly after the start, an incident involving Boat 2 (Swecat) and Boat 17 (Kuwait) brought the action to a temporary halt, as race control delayed the restart to allow rescue teams to complete safety and recovery operations. Thanks to the rapid response procedures, all drivers were confirmed safe and uninjured.

Once the race resumed, the intensity only grew. The event once again showcased the world-class calibre of the championship and the region’s growing passion for offshore powerboat racing.

The atmosphere was pure adrenaline as crews pushed their boats to the absolute limit, mastering challenging conditions with precision, courage, and flawless teamwork. Fans witnessed one of the most intense and hotly contested races of the season, with multiple lead changes and tactical battles that kept the outcome wide open until the very end.

Race 2 Results:

• 2nd place: VICTORY TEAM- BOAT 7
• 3rd place: TEAM GB – BOAT 8

Onshore, the excitement matched the chaos on the waves. A huge, energetic crowd lined the waterfront and filled the grandstands, turning Kuwait’s coast into a roaring arena. Their passion and support boosted every moment of competition and confirmed the nation’s rising status as a prime destination for high-octane motorsport events.

The KUWAIT SEA SPORT CLUB celebrated a flawlessly delivered race weekend, applauding the relentless effort of the entire Kuwait team and recognizing the event as a new milestone in the region’s offshore racing journey. Their commitment—together with the support of partners and institutions—created an unforgettable experience for teams, spectators, and international visitors.
With Kuwait’s round wrapped up in spectacular fashion, the championship now heads to Dubai for the Grand Finale from 12 to 14 December. The title fight is still wide open—everything will be decided on the waters of Dubai, where speed, strategy, and nerves of steel will crown the 2025 champions .
