The Tamil film industry is left in mourning after the sudden demise of popular comedian-actor Robo Shankar at the age of 46. The actor passed away in Chennai after he collapsed on the set and was reportedly rushed to a private hospital. Despite intensive medical care, his condition worsened, and he breathed his last on Thursday, September 18, around 8:30 pm. Robo Shankar had won hearts for his impeccable comic timing, ‘robo-style dance moves’, and image of a simple family man.
