Now, the late actor’s son, Babil Khan, has opened up about his views on the film and the bond he shares with the director.

Babil Khan called his father, Irrfan’s Piku a masterpiece

Piku became a cult film over the years, with fans being absolutely in love with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone’s equation in the film. Irrfan won everyone’s hearts with his carefree nature, and the ending left everyone in tears. The film went on to earn three National Film Awards and a place as one of the most loved Bollywood films. As the film marks a decade since its release, Irrfan’s son, Babil, shared his thoughts on the film during a conversation with News18.
