Positive phone call between Meloni and VDL – EC

(ANSA) – ROME, APR 18 – Premier Giorgia Meloni and Euroepan Commission President Ursula von der Leyen had a “positive” phone conversation Friday about the premier’s talks with Donald Trump at the White House Thursday, an EC spokesperson said.
The talks are hoped to foster a tariffs deal at an upcoming visit to Rome by the US president. (ANSA).
